I do not like compartments on a cutting board. Then you have to empty everything to clean it. If you are working with meat and veg in the same session, you will often be cleaning or swapping boards. You are much better off with separate containers.
For specific amounts for your recipe, I recommend small bowls like these. I use them all the time.
