I've been eyeing this one for awhile. The Chemical Guys recommend it and it has pretty damn good reviews on Amazon.

Just bought the torq torx random orbital polisher kit for $99.

Might be able to buff it out. I've done the multi-stage repair kits before and it worked just fine.
My understanding is that the chemical compounds soften the paint a little so the paint blends together and eliminates the scratch. Should make it better at least, if not completely repair it. You can look at some of the testimonial images and see if it's something you want to try.

The paint pen might make the scratch a little less obvious, but I doubt it will fully 'repair' it as you would hope.
