You need a splitter.
Hit up amazon or whatever and search for a headphone microphone splitter. Like this one:
The Dualshock 5 has a 3.5mm audio output, you can split it with something like this:

The adapter has a headphone adapter that expects something like earbuds with both a built in microphone and a pair of earphones. It uses a TRRS connection.
Your car uses a TRS connection that doers hot include a microphone signal.
You need an adapter that splits the TRRS signal into dedicated TRS jacks - one for headphones and one for microphone. You will not use the microphone jack. This is what you need - note the icons on the two jacks. There are many similar adapters out there

Need some help with wiring. I'm running a SMSL AD18 with ELAC B6 and dual R-12SW's.
I am currently using this cable to the subs LFE rca output into the input of SMSL AD18 along with speaker wire to my ELAC B6's. This feels wrong for some reason and I just want to learn the proper way of wiring this setup. Everything works at the moment but I feel like I did something wrong.
I've read that you can use the 3.5 coaxial output of the SMSL AD18 as the sub output using this cable. If I wanted to use dual subs, could I just use this along with 2 of the cables above?
Is there a benefit in running it this way vs what I have now?
Should note though, the Y-splitter at the end is pretty cheap and stops working so I'd buy a backup. I went through 2 original Y-splitters from Hyper X until I bought 2 of these as backups. And now I haven't had any problems with the Y-splitter malfunctioning at all https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01I3A47I4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
As others have said, the MIDI protocol doesn't carry audio.
The UCA202 you linked will work, with a 1/4" TS to RCA cable. I have one myself. It's not the highest resolution (it records at 44.1kHz - CD-quality - which is less than typical studio quality) but other alternatives cost several times as much and the Monologue is supposed to sound grimy anyway.
If you're feeling really cheap, get one of these and a 1/4" to 1/8" TS cable and record through your computer's sound card. The DAC there is designed for passing on online voice chat from a crappy headset mic, not for recording music, so it won't sound great, but audio will make it into your DAW.
(Amazon links are just for example. Can't recommend any of those specific products personally although Hosa is generally decent.)
It should work with an adapter OR a splitter, with the caveat that there are actually two different TRRS specifications. CTIA and OMPT. So if the first one doesn’t work, get the other one. I’m not sure which pinout works with your mic/the MF. This splitter works.
