I use Skin Grip brand. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G9QQJZZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_2E4VQSZ8SVNDC92WW3RD

I have also used and liked Simpatch brand as well. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QGX3HJW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_68K05JCRZNCHRBXA6JXJ

Sometimes I use them with a shield if I feel like reusing the sensor for longer. It allows you to pull off the overpatch without taking the sensor with it. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Z7L1KSM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_CZ2A1SK3XB33YYW792V2

I hate the peelz brand. Way too flimsy, ends up sticking to itself and impossible to remove from the shield. The adhesive is also just barely over the size of the original dexcom sticker.

Wearing it on my arm improves the longevity of the adhesive.

In addition, I improve the stickiness to my skin by using adhesive promoter Skin Prep https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000S9KLSY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_P66HR47GMKWRG45RBR10?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

And when its time to take it off, and the adhesive stays stuck to your skin, I use Uni-Solve to remove it. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00M3IKRFU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_HX2GJ35SHKRPCAJCSRB3

I have the weekly patches and the only way I can get my patches to stay on is by using Tegaderm. I work out 6-7 days a week and sweat a lot. I haven't been swimming yet. I've had great luck with the Tegaderm. I'm truly amazed at the staying power. If there is leftover adhesive on my skin, I use adhesive remover wipes. I do plan on checking out the other suggestions here. I'm just grateful I can get the patches to stay on with this easy fix because I prefer the patches over the pill form.

Virtual hugs and wishes that you find something that will work for you.

Couple possible additions:

One alternative I'll mention for the bathroom (as opposed to toilet modification/shower seats) is get some grab bars. We ended up putting one in our kids main bathroom too, just because it makes it safer for them to get into the tub. Simply look for "ADA grab bar" -- it's not a towel bar, its much stronger -- you will need to find a stud in the wall to install!

One example, but they come in a million finishes and styles these days:

We had one each end of the shower and opposite the toilet, and it gets you the functionality without your bathroom looking so "hospital".

Little things:

People mentioned good travel mug, second that and add good sealing water bottle -- think about how you'll carry it too, a loop or something might be helpful.

Very much second the lapdesk / folding tray idea.

Very much second the wedge shaped pillow or pillow set.

Long charging cords or a handy surge strip w/USB. Might also consider something to help you avoid losing cords -- I got velcro cord organizing strips and stuck my phone charger cord to my bedside when not in use.

Baby oil doesn't work so well for me, I use UniSolve which I imagine is an oil with isopropyl alcohol or acetone, not sure. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00M3IKRFU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_113JYAPK9WFXN4X0VJR8
