I have to disagree my friend and the disagreement is not a matter of opinion.
But first I would like to add, you are right, many sellers do pick a random category in order to be #1, but in this case they are all subcategories of the main category "Tools & Home Improvement". So therefore, let's take a look at the best N95's in the main category Home & Improvement rather than the subcategories.
Best Sellers in "Disposable Respirators" Sub-Category:
#16 Best Seller in Disposable Respirators Subcategory - 3M 8210#165 in "Tools & Home Improvement" Main category is 3M 8210 which IMO is the most uncomfortable respirator I've ever put on, ranked
#24 Best Seller in Disposable Respirators Subcategory - Kimberly Clark Duckbill#293 in "Tools & Home Improvement" Main category, which also failed Armbrust's filtration test, which can be taken with a grain of salt.
Let's stop here in the subcategory of "Disposable Respirators" and look at the subcategory "Cup Dust Safety Mask"
#19 Best Seller in Cup Dust Safety Masks - BNX H95B 10 Pack#19 in Cup Dust Safety Masks#116 in "Tools & Home Improvement" Main category, which means in the main category, they are the best seller, outselling the two previously mentioned competitors and any other N95 seller in the major category, otherwise they would not be leading in the main category, as it's based off sales, not search terms.
I think it's more than okay to have doubts, especially in Amazon, but in this case you're assumptions are just not based in fact, but I would be happy to hear any other arguments.
In terms of breathing resistance, they post their filtration, resistance tests everyday and the breathability is 90-100 Pa, which is almost unheard of in N95 respirators. Let's please discuss with facts and not doubts or assumptions.
TSI 8130A Test Results from H95B today::Reading was 6.5 mmH = 63.74Pahttps://youtu.be/ZpLMOz2Gsio?t=265
BTW the TSI 8130A is the same filter test that NIOSH uses... Please clarify.
I would recommend starting your search at projectn95, which makes sure that what you’re getting will be authentic. They have mask listings on Amazon but also from other websites I believe, and they have listings that aren’t in huge bulk.
I ended up choosing these around-the-head masks from Amazon bc free shipping and I’m very happy with them, tho there are enough vetted listings on projectn95 that you could probably find a better deal and masks with any features you want and in any number you want.
