I actually owned a very similar pair of the MEElectronic ones: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003VTZPO8/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_Kje8tb0KVD1XZ
They were $27 and were great, hardly ever fell out of my ear, canceled noise well, and gave good audio.
Eventually they fell apart, I believe the hard metal wire that goes around your ear eventually began to poke out and scratch into my head/ear. Then one of the ears stopped playing audio, then both did.
This started happening after months of rough use, so I don't really blame the product, although it was annoying. Also, the pair I owned has since been discontinued, apparently, so maybe the issue has been fixed in the model you found anyway.
Up until they broke, they were great headphones.
I never owned one of the Apple headphones, but I have used them, and they seem good, but are pretty much garbage at blocking out sound.
Both are good headphones, but if I were to "make your choice," I'd take the risk and try out the MEE's. They're good in my experience, and they're not super expensive for headphones anyway.
