The only way to stay under $100 is to compromise on what brand.

Reolink has some models with 3x, 4x, or even 5x zoom that can tighten up the FoV. I use the Reolink 522 and it's ok, but probably not zoomed enough for you.

There's also some resellers out there that use the Dahua or Hikvision hardware but their own firmware, sometimes not in English. It can be hit or miss with them.
