I grabbed the suggested buy on amazon that was paired with the rod on a whim the whole thing was on a whim. Its friggin great for the price point. no complaints other than the rod was impossible to put together untill i trimmed the rubber butt end. great little stream combo. What you got is right around the same, im sure it will be better than the croch

If you can swing it, I'd suggest go as cheap as possible on the reel itself (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LZYVGRF/ref=twister_B01M0M87OA?th=1&psc=1 for instance) and then putting your money into a quality fly line. At 4wt, the reel is just there to hold line. You can get a good 4wt creek/stream WF line for around $75 pretty easily, and then backing/leader/tippet are whatever.
