Honestly, if you're looking at getting a new monitor I would highly recommend getting a 120hz display. People who have not used such a display on their PC before will scoff at the idea, but once you have used it you will really never want to use a 60hz panel again.

There are always tradeoffs; most (if not all, I haven't looked into 120hz stuff for a while) 120hz panels are TN panels, which means that the colour accuracy and depth aren't at the same level as an IPS display. They are usually a little pricier, however I picked up my 120hz monitor for $299 AUD, so with everything here being expensive for few reasons when compared to the US, you should be able to pick one up for around $200 US.

If you are limiting yourself to the two monitors above, pick the IPS display. The ghosting may be a little more obvious than on the TN display, but the picture will be better. And realistically you will not really notice the ~4ms difference in response time unless you are a uncannily good at picking such things up.

EDIT: This one has some good reviews, and is pretty easy on the wallet: http://www.amazon.com/VG248QE-24-Inch-Screen-LED-lit-Monitor/dp/B00B2HH7G0/ref=sr_1_2?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1382749857&sr=1-2&keywords=120+hz+monitor

I have the Asus VG248QE, and its pretty nice. Slightly cheaper than a BenQ and I think it has slightly better color.

ASUS VG248QE 24" Full HD 1920x1080 144Hz 1ms HDMI Gaming Monitor https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B2HH7G0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_HAo2BbRQV489K

I have this monitor and it’s absolutely perfect. Nickmercs also uses this monitor. If you wait till Black Friday Best Buy will probably have it on sale for $200 (that’s when I got mine and what the price was)

I have this stand for both my monitors:
https://www.walmart.com/ip/ONN-Full-Motion-Dual-Monitor-Arm-Mount-for-13-27-Screens-Swivel-Tilt-Rotate-Height-Adjustable/985884689

main monitor: https://www.amazon.com/Alienware-25-Gaming-Monitor-Height-Adjustable/dp/B0733YCKM5
second: https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-VG248QE-1920x1080-Gaming-Monitor/dp/B00B2HH7G0/ref=asc_df_B00B2HH7G0?tag=bingshoppinga-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=80195681205795&hvnetw=o&hvqmt=e&hvbmt=be&hvdev=c&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=&hvtargid=pla-4583795260638345&psc=1

downside to the dual stand + having different size monitors is that my main monitor kind of overlaps my second (second monitor is to the right of main). I have my main directly in front like u want urs to be, but it just barely overlaps the second monitor which kind of bothers me and makes me wish I had bought two separate stands for both. if u think u wont find it bothersome that ur main might overlap, then go for it. if u think it will then i suggest getting two separate stands if ur desk can fit them. the arms clamps i linked are pretty generous in terms of desk thickness, so maybe u can clamp them on the part of the desk that does not protrude downwards. hope i helped somewhat!

Shell out the extra couple bucks.

EDIT: Also 144hz won't matter for your PS4, but if you ever want to use it for PC Gaming, like switching between, then you're set.
