Unfortunately you can't have what you want. There's no "dialing in" municipal water unless your town is on a treated system (not just clarifiers) and even then you are always going to be susceptible to whatever swings the town you're in allows as "acceptable." The only way to dial something in is to guaranteed know it's starting point without testing. And that means RO/Distilled.

My setup

RO Smart Buddie (gets water up to 90-100 psi for nearly 1:1 ratio)

Liquigen 5 stage RO/DI 75/gpd

All the tubing I needed was in the box but I ended up getting a longer output for an ATO on my rez.

Total cost for me with shipping and everything was about $315
