I bought the Bosch Compact mixer from Amazon here in 2014, it's great. A bit noisy but it gets the job done. I use it mainly for kneading small batches of wet dough (75% plus hydration) and cake and choux batter. You are probably looking at its big brother, the Universal Plus Stand Mixer. For real heavy duty kneading I can recommend the best workhorse the Ankarsrum. I got mine from Pleasant Hill Grain where you can see a wide variety of mixers and attachments, great reviews and advice. These people are the real deal. If you are into artisan bread making, this is a fun site The Fresh Loaf where you'll find some wonderful folks to ask questions of, and generally enjoy their posted pics of bread. Happy Baking!
