Ok I'll try in outline in more detail below. This is my 'equipment' list:

How everything fits together:

  1. Fans and WirelessTag attached near the top of the greenhouse and out of the way of the watering system. I cut a small opening near the top and pointed one of the fans out of it to help vent hot air out when the greenhouse gets above a certain temp.
  2. I put the heater near the bottom of the greenhouse. Once again, I only put it in the greenhouse in the winter when I do not water my neos. Since the humidity generally stays in the 100% - 80% range, I do not water them at all. Once the days get longer and the humidity begins to drop below 60% I'll take the heater out and turn on the watering system.
  3. The fans and heater are plugged into the Meross Smart plugs.
  4. I use IFTTT.com to automatically turn on and off the fans and heater. For example, in the WirelessTag app you can set the temperature and humidity range you think as normal, and if you conditions go above or below this range it can send a trigger to IFTTT which can then turn on/off your Meross Smart plugs. In the summer, this is how I keep my humidity levels up during the day, in the winter this is how I trigger the heater to turn on and off. IFTTT has integrations with WirelessTag and Meross, so it is fairly simple to set up! If you're having trouble, please reach out to me.

Overall, I generally check my neos once a week to see how they're fairing, but I've had this set up for 3/4 a year and they seem to be happy. Lots and lots and lots of root growth! Another important note is that most of my neos are potted in terracotta with long strand coconut fiber since the humidity is so high in this little greenhouse. If your plants are in moss, I'd be careful about how much you water them!

In any case, hopefully this helps!
