Wire and Cable are among the most contentious and hotly debated issues in Internet Audio Forums. Debated furiously and extensively for decades with no resolution.
Some would say you don't need more than this -
Great Speaker Cable at Reasonable Prices -

I have nothing against the Speaker Cable shown, I'm sure it is excellent cable, but you are paying a lot of money for things that are merely cosmetic - Fancy Jacket, Fancy Cable Pants, etc.... BUT those aspect do cost money, and do have both practical and aesthetic value.
Ultimately, wire is wire and long as it is quality copper, and of sufficient gauge.
All things considered $160 is not outrageous for nice-looking quality pre-made cable, though is that $160 EACH or Per Pair?
Any chance you can give us a link to it so we can check out the details?
I did a survey in the USA and the UK, asking people how much they spent on All Wire and Cable relative to the Total Cost of their System. By a vast majority, most spend under 5% of their system cost on wire and cable and many were below 3%. The highest I believe was about 25%, and that was on a very expensive system (£16,000; US$19,750).
I have charts/graphs for the above if anyone is interested in seeing them.

If I have a system that can justify it, I wouldn't mind spending a considerable but reasonable amount on wire and Cable. I do believe Wire and Cable can make a difference, but I think it takes a pretty high end system to hear that difference.
And you can get Fancy for cheap, though not sure about the quality -

It is a broad and contentious spectrum, that has been and will be debated for Decades more.
Still, very nice cable, and not really that expensive if you have the system to justify it.
