Reddragon vishnu 70$ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0811CCQ44/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_wpcaFb588M1N9 I know it's a few dollars more than you say you want to spend, but the switched feel super smooth, rgb is great, USB and 2.4ghz wireless, macro keys, and comes with hot swap switches and wrist rest. Really can't be beat, all of the features from much more expensive keyboards but without the cost of brand marketing.

I'm a sw developer but have no exposure to qmk/zmk.

Would it work for my Redragon K596 Vishnu? (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0811CCQ44)

Thx
