  1. You seriously should not feel it at all. If you do feel it that means either a. It's not in correctly (since you don't leak this shouldn't be it) b. Your cup is too firm or c. The stem is too long. I had this prblm and for me it was c, even though the stem was all the way in my vagina I could still feel it, I cut it off and now I don't feel it at all. To cut the stem remove it from your vag and cut small sections off at a time until u reach a desired length and can no longer feel the stem then smooth the edges with nail clippers. Practice removing the cup w/o the stem b4 cutting if you plan on cutting the whole thing off.

  2. I'm not sure what you mean about the end part bending around your finger. Do you mean it is folding inwards? It might just be a problem with the design of that cup as I've never experienced that nor have I ever read of anyone else experiencing that and I've nvr heard of anyone else's experience using cups from the brand you bought.

  3. You should be able to tell if it's open by how firm it is when you push against it with a finger. If the cup wiggles instead of pushing inward then it is fully expanded. After enough times of using this method you will be able to feel if it's open or exactly how folded it is just from doing this, but while you get the hang of it you should use this backup method, or just do this backup method instead. Insert a finger into your vag as high up as possible with the cup in and circle the cup, if you feel a gap anywhere that means your cup isn't fully expanded so press against the wall of your vag to allow it space to open up completely.

  4. Are you experiencing pain with the current height you've been inserting it? I don't know what pain you're referring to as I've never experienced it or read about it but you should be able to wear your menstrual cup comfortably with it being just inside your vagina.

  5. I'm not quite sure what would make you feel like it's sitting on your pelvis, maybe cut the stem. That seems to be a cure all in most cases.

  6. Yep! As long as you aren't leaking then it is in correctly and has formed a proper seal! :D

  7. Tell me about it! All I ever heard about before getting my cups was how menstruators were experiencing mess free periods with them meanwhile I was getting blood everywhere! I'm a 15 yr old(was 14 when starting cups) virgin so I had to fold the cup to get it out and tilt it out so I got blood everywhere. Now i don't need to fold it and only pinch the very bottom of the base and drag it out. This has helped considerably with the mess but on my heavy day I'm still not always mess free. Today I was tho :P lol I'm happy abt that. If that doesn't help the only other thing would be to empty your cup more frequently. Also empty your cup in the shower whenever you can.

  8. It's interesting that you're having this experience. Lots of women experience reduced cramping although experts don't know why. Personally I only first experienced cramps a couple months before switching to cups and they had alrdy been getting worse with each month so they were pretty bad when I started using a cup but I'm sure that's not be the cup's fault, especially since now I hardly ever cramp. If your cup is too firm that can cause cramping as well as bladder issues and discomfort.

  9. Any oil-free sensitive skin or antibacterial soap is fine. Personally I use the Saalt cup wash since my cups are from Saalt. Dr. Bronner's wouldn't be good for your cup because it has oils in it. Also not a lot of ppl know abt this but if you're boiling your cup you should consider switching to a cup steamer, they are faster, provide housing for your cup, and you don't have to use your dishes (although there's nothing wrong with that I know some ppl don't like it).

  10. The only thing I can really say here is refer to my answer for #1 to see about what is causing your discomfort and try to find a solution that works for you. When I was experiencing discomfort it was only when I moved around so sleeping was fine and so I have no other advice for this issue. But I'd assume you'd have to deal with it just like you would any other discomfort. I sleep with period panties on my heavy night and so I'd wear a liner as backup or really even just stick to pads during the night given how heavy your period is.

If you want to have fully sustainable periods maybe look into period underwear or cloth pads and liners. I don't have any cloth pads or liners to recommend, but I use OLIKEME Period Underwear which are $25 for 5 pairs, which is a freaking amazing price, trust me I did extensive research before buying them and they are the best deal that you can find. At least they are on Amazon and trustworthy retail sites.

I hope this helps. Sorry I'm no good at jokes and puns but I hope in the future you can have a bloody good time with your cup.(said in Baliee Madison's British accent from Just Go With It)
