You're wrong. I tested the DECO 01 V2 like 10 minutes, and it was definitely an USB-C port on it. The cable is USB-C that connects on the tablet to USB-A that connects on the PC/Mac.
The micro USB port doesn't even have the same aspect:
- USB-C is round, and can connect both sides with the cable, that's a feature of the USB-C port: https://www.storexppen.com/Uploads/images/product/detail/20170828/deco01v2/Deco01V2_04.jpg I actually used it with the cable pointing upwards. Micro USB can't do that.
- How a micro usb port looks: https://www.amazon.com/uxcell-Female-Connector-Replacement-Adapter/dp/B07QY698J5 A micro USB port can be connected only on one side. It is not round.
IIRC, the adapters I saw in the box were:
- x1 USB-A (female) to USB-C (male) to connect it on an USB-C port on your PC/Graphic Card
- x1 USB-A (female) to Micro-USB (male) to connect it on an Micro-USB port on your PC/Graphic Card
same as seen here: https://www.storexppen.com/Uploads/goods/20200313/41619972edd40f380d71596c5131b2b5.jpg
EDIT: This person got the DECO 01 NON-V2, and it was already an USB-C port: https://digitalarttabletguides.wordpress.com/2019/07/31/xp-pen-deco-01-review/ with the USB-C port cable.
And he/she commented the same as me that you can reverse the cable because it is USB-C, quoting her review:
"The XP-Pen Deco 01 uses an L-shaped USB type-C cable on the tablet, which then connects to a USB type-A port on your computer. This cable fits very snugly in the port, and the port doesn’t budge at all when trying to wiggle the cable.
The great thing about USB type-C ports on a tablet is that you can easily reverse it for left-handed mode because USB type-C is symmetrical."
