I don't think you have to worry about the effects on blood pressure too much unless you have elevated blood pressure already. Don't go all out though. If you eat >100g on a daily basis the amount of sugar you're getting from that is probably going to mess you up in the long run (weight gain, diabetes, heart disease, tooth decay, etc.).
