You can do it! With short notice I would just keep it basic. Do you have space to host it at home? If so, I would plan to invite folks over to your place and go with some simple decorations - you can find pretty cheap decorative banners on Amazon or probably in party stores as well. Throw in a bouquet of flowers from the grocery store as a centerpiece, add maybe some balloons, some decorative plates and straws... you get the idea. Tons of inexpensive options, you don't need to go crazy!

I'd plan to host it in the afternoon on a weekend - that way you're off the hook for providing too much food and you can get away with putting together a simple veggie platter, cheese platter, bowl of chips or popcorn, and some homemade cupcakes (as examples, you get the idea). Then have some wine and/or cocktails available to make it a party. A cute and easy idea is to set up a mimosa bar - buy some cheap champagne, buy a couple different types of juice, and then have a couple fresh fruit options to throw in.

Find a decent Spotify or Pandora playlist to throw on in the background to set the mood.

A lot of bridal shower time is typically spent with the bride opening gifts (make sure you have a pen and paper handy to write down what she gets from who, she will really appreciate it!) so don't worry about having tons of stuff planned. Another fun game if you have time is to ask the groom some trivia questions about himself ahead of time and then quiz the bride during the shower. When we did this with my sister we had her pop in a piece of bubblegum for every question she got wrong. You can also buy a pack of party games like this on Amazon ahead of time just in case and whip something out if you feel like you need something to do.
