Yes, I did, link below. Also, if your X1 has a standalone heat sink (you have to take it off to disassemble the extruder) you will need to improve it. The heat sink is cupped on the surface that mates with the extruder mounting plate. It is also anodized black, an insulator. You need to sand down the bottom of the heat sink till it is flat and bare aluminum. Same with the outside of the extruder plate where the heat sink sits on it. On mine, I also dremmeled out clearance on the heat sink for the extruder mounting screws and permanently attached it to the extruder with some thermal paste in between. Use two diagonal fan mounting holes with shorter screws. The fan then mounts on top with the other two long stock screws. This saves HUGE time in assembling the extruder, temps go way down and the heat break will then work properly. Not a clog since then. If you need a picture, I can look for one.
