Very thoughtful gift idea. Scrapbooking is not only fun when when you create but also fun when you look back later and remember events and everyday moments. I suggest checking out Club Scrap. page kits I am not affiliated with them but have been a member for years. This is an inexpensive way to test the waters. You don't end up with a lot of leftover pieces. You don't need a bunch of equipment. There are video tutorials for every kit. There are also bonus formulas and projects. This means you don't have to make scrapbook pages with a kit. You can make mini-albums, traveler's journals, folios and other projects. I wish I had started with them. I have a craft room full of papers and embellishments I don't use because grabbing one of these kits and following along with the video is easy and fun when you don't have a lot of time.
