I find a loupe like this very useful. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005FZ1CDE
Also something to hold your work - https://www.amazon.com/Citadel-Outils-Poignee-peintre-mk2/dp/B08MC88KWZ
sanding sticks - https://www.amazon.com/Keystone-Cushioned-Abrasive-Sanding-Woodworking/dp/B00C5RFIXK
And some super glue and debonder
And don't forget to go easy on yourself and have a good time!
Cheapest one I’ve tried: https://smile.amazon.com/Surgicial-Magnification-Working-Distance-Burgundy/dp/B005FZ1CDE/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=1C61ZIDNVDS9O&keywords=loupes&qid=1675449686&sprefix=loupes%2Caps%2C91&sr=8-3
You can find some that have attachable lights for around $50. Loupes can be tricky to get used to but stay the course and you’ll be feeling great. Magnification makes such an incredible difference, it’s like a whole new world. Make sure you get working length loupes (16.5 inches or 420mm) so you can sit ergonomically.
