I gave my sister a Champion 100692. It's been on a few RV trips with them, and seems to work fine. As with any generator, if you buy it new, break it in carefully. Buy a bonding plug if you're going to plug an RV into it.
For those who were planning on running a gas furnace directly with a generator (without using a transfer switch or interlock), be aware that most common smaller generators and inverter generators use a floating neutral. Most modern furnaces will not engage. One trick is to use a bonded neutral plug that you place in one of the generator outlets which will allow the gas furnace electronics to sense a neutral and run. Hope that helps someone. Link if anyone is interested. You can of course wire something a lot cheaper but for a novice this seems to be easier.
