I contacted Amazon 4 times via the email they gave me to dispute the review ban and spoke to 3 customer service reps via chat and was told they would promise me someone would get back to me within 24 hours. That was close to two weeks ago and nobody got back to me.
As far as washing these blankets, even if it say wash on gentle cycle and hang to dry, it is definitely not recommended because the stitches will get loosened and the beads will spill. The only other solution is the take it to a dry cleaner and ask them to spot clean it with steam.
The best solution for me is using Duvet covers that tie and can zip the blanket into it. It does happen to be a pain in the ass to put them on and have to wrangle them off, but I became a pro at it. I did it so many times that now it takes me tops 5-10 minutes to change to put on and take off the duvet.
To put it on all you have to do is turn the duvet cover inside out and straighten it out on a large flat surface. Then place the weighted blanket on top of it and tie the strings/ties to the loops and them reach inside as far as you can get your arms into the other end of the corners of the duvet. Grab the two corners as they are lined up in the edge seams and pull it back inside out. Then I grab the very corners of the blanket and duvet and give it a good shake to straighten it out and flatten it out and then I just zip it up.
At first there was frustration because the Duvet cover came with no directions and I found a youtube video where a lady showed exactly how to do this and then it became so easy to do it is no longer that big of a pain in the ass.
I purchased a bunch of duvet covers to always have clean and crisp ones on hand whenever I want to change them out. I have to do it a lot because I have two little dogs that drag mud in from outside and jump on my blankets and dirty the Duvet covers up. These are my favorite Duvet covers that I bought that I happen to like a lot. Since I hate being hot, I avoid those fleece or minky covers and only buy 100% cotton or bamboo viscose ones.
100% Cotton (Way cooler than microfiber, polyester or minky material which runs hot: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08F2MVLYT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This one is the nicest cotton one I ever purchased so far and my favorite: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RKPQSJ2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This one is nice too: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08F2MSKK1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This one is a stiffer cotton if you like your cotton Duvet with more body to it. It is not as soft, but still nice: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B083G3LDHW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Bamboo Viscose is the coolest material for hot sleepers. The caveat is they are slippery and silky and may slide off the bed and the blanket may slide around inside of the Duvet cover a little. This doesn't happen as much with the cotton ones which have better grip:

This brand is the highest quality I have come across for cooling bamboo viscose Duvets followed by the link below, The ties have snaps instead of having to tie them in.

If buying a weighted blanket and Duvet cover, just make sure it comes with 8 loops (some come with only 4-6) because most of these Duvet covers come with 8 ties.
