I would get print bedsheets that are similar to the wallpaper in the movie, or just something in yellow/red pattern. One per wall would probably do it (make sure it is fully covered though). I would probably do a king-size sheet on the ceiling too... probably something darker, maybe more wood-like. You can get some awesome looking sheets online for a reasonable price. That would give a pretty quick and dramatic change to the room.

Check yard sales or Goodwill for oversized candles.
