I use two pieces. First I get a mount from proclipusa.com

These are specifically designed for each make and model of car, easy to install and last forever. I’ve been using them for a good 20 years.

Then I’ll attach a magnetic mount to this. I’m using this one currently with a MagSafe case. Best solution ever.
