Testing out a new video mount with a short drive around the neighborhood. Planning to use a couple of these with dual cameras to record our trip up to the V-Dub Bash this weekend.
Yeah, there's a screw mount on the bottom. The Amazon reviews on that one say it's pretty lousy. I've been looking at this one, but the only time "helmet" is mentioned, somone is saying that they don't recommend using it for helmets. I'm wondering if suction cup-style mounts aren't the best for a round surface, like a helmet. Perhaps a strap-syle one would work better, like this.
I don't have a GoPro but I use a suction cup mount with a six inch extension. 30 bucks on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002K8Q0EU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_NZFB04FERPCYD6P49AVY?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
