Just ordered this one....and I just now saw the two reviews for the Honor 8 version, and apparently it doesn't fit well at all. Crap.

I ordered the J&D tempered glass protector (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01J77DHPG/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1). Even though it leaves a small gap, ~ 1-2 mm, on top and bottom it fits well with no halo on the edges. Have been using it for about a month with no issues so far.

this one has worked perfect. sticked to the screen perfect.

Because I use a silicone skin, I don't notice the edges at all
