I have had these for over a year and no complaints. They say they are rated to 932 degrees...I have no problems with picking up a 650 degree cooking grate, or a hot conveggtor. The only caveat, is that these are not for wet. I haven't had any problem picking up meat, but if you get them wet, they do not protect from hot liquids.
