hey this might help on some level with your setup - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OAW85ZG/ - tricks your phone or ipad's headset mic input to take a line-level. Works over a Lightening - > 3mm apple dongle.

Use this adapter to pull audio from your sound board. Makes the audio so much better than the internal mic or even quality external mics. Line In audio adapter for 3.5 mm

So far I’ve had decent results using both a Headset Buddy and a 3.5mm to dual 1/4” cable.

Edit:

To clarify, the Headset Buddy will attenuate the line-level signal from the MPC down to microphone level and record into your phone’s mic input. It’s worked for me with my iPhone XR but I can’t really speak to Android phones. I’d imagine it should work though if the phone accepts TRRS for headsets.

I think the headphone jack on your phone should accept a TRRS cable to accept input from but I would do research to be sure.
