They hiked the price a bit but this is the one! It has a silicone lip on the dome (!!!) and switches from static to spinning virtually hands free (you move this ring up or down near the base which can be done with your foot lol). You can also install without a ladder (provided you know/check where your studs are) as you just spin pole A to increase the height. I was able to set it up by myself with the help of someone just holding it in place so it stayed level. Besides checking and marking my studs and unboxing, took probably less than 20 min to assemble and install. I did watch a video beforehand to make sure.

Now the only other pole I’ve tried with my sisters that she bought a few years back and was also an Amazon or eBay “knock off” and it’s still going strong. The quality feels the same to mine. I don’t know how to necessarily recommend one over the other like I said before. what I tried to do was find one that had the most load bearing weight as I figured they may have a sturdier construction/higher quality materialsif they can bear more weight but I don’t know how accurate this is. Also I’m sure these brands lie about their actual load weight as different poles had different values for that and i would think every pole would be able to bear the same weight (if they’re made in a standard way.) Some cheaper/thinner metal may result in less load bearing weight. Not sure about that tho.
