I've been using this one for the past three months and I haven't seen any damage to my computer or looseness of the ports. I'm cautious and make sure that if it's connected, I usually have the weight of the dock supported on my leg, a table, the couch, something. I'm not sure if this is on the expensive or cheap side of your search, but I figured I'd give my input. Welcome to the M2 family!

Thanks for the info! It almost seems like I'm better off just getting a DeX hub like this instead of an HDMI+PD adapter like this. It seems like the only advantage of the HDMI+PD one is the simplicity.
