I have the iottie car holder that I like a lot already. I really want to include qi into it because running and plugging in the cables for the audio and power is annoying, and messy. My idea is purchase a bluetooth music streamer to handle the audio, and instead of having to buy a new mount with qi built in, I found this which looks like it has potential. I'll stick that to the car dock with an nfc tag and tasker to kick everything off.
i have that case, and i use this holder:

JUST fits, holds the weight very well, and when you aren't using that particular case, it works fantastically with smaller cases (which i use quite a bit as well)
I ended up getting this one: http://www.amazon.com/iOttieiOttie-Windshield-Dashboard-Holder-Galaxy/dp/B007FH716W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1388707340&sr=8-1&keywords=iottie+xl
highly recommended, i've been meaning to make a post about it, I will right now.
I use this one. I have a normal/medium thickness case with a small credit card pocket stuck on the back. This dock holds it fine. They have 2 other versions on the same product page that will handle thicker phones that may work better for you.
Good luck!
I use the iOttie One Touch 2
the suction to the dash is great and it works very well, the only downside is that it does not fit the phone with my case on (otterbox commuter series). The otterbox is one of the bigger cases you if you have a slimer case it will probably be fine.
You may want to opt for the (XL version) [http://www.amazon.com/iOttie-Windshield-Dashboard-Holder-HLCRIO101/dp/B007FH716W/ref=sr_1_1?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1420830773&sr=1-1&keywords=iottie+note+4]
looks like it gives you an extra .1 inch.
This is what I got:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007FH716W/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The suction is so strong that it takes a lot of effort to take it out if you decide to do so. I like that it takes minimal space of my view. It feels cheap but it holds the phone pretty tight. I drive rough too myself and my note 3 never fell off from it.
If you get it, make sure you get the XL version...
I have this case. And it works like a champ. If you have a car cd player. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B007FH716W/ref=redir_mdp_mobile?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00
