I got the Alcedo kit from Amazon after looking through the options online. I’ve had success practicing on it, but really I feel like most kits will generally get the job done (so it’s really your call). I’ve ordered extra practice sutures as well. The only downside to the silicone pad is it eventually wears out with the constant punctures but as long as you stagger where you’re placing the sutures you’re fine. It can be hard to get an idea of how tight to tie the sutures on silicone, but I promise that when you move to actual skin it’s so much easier!
