I’ve seen some people use a leash that attaches to BOTH the dog’s collar and harness. At this point, I don’t know if any other harness that is more escape proof so maybe we could modify.

Like with this leash with 2 connection points (idk if they sell the leash separate or not?): Link. Instead of having the leash connect to 2 points on the harness, have one connect to the collar.

There’s also a diy version, I follow an Instagram account of this couple who rescues obese beagles and they take lots of walks lol. Here it is in action: Obese Beagle. In one of the comments, they explain it’s just a regular leash with one side clipped to the harness and an additional carabiner on the handle side that attaches to the collar. So even if she does (or rather when she does), you still at least have the collar as a backup
