I would strongly recommend the book Muscles Testing and Function. (I have no affiliation with this book).
IMO, this is such an important area for long term health that spending a few bucks is well worth it. I picked up an older edition for 15 bucks, and it is probably the best money I ever spent.
It is pretty deep medical text, so it isn't an easy read. However, there are great pictures, and the assessments of shortness of various muscles is understandable. I'm a programmer, not a doctor. I was able to muddle through it no problem, and do most of the assessments myself.
There are also corrective exercises.
