Here is my Confirmed working setup

1070TI, OG Samsung Odyssey, 16GB, Ryzen 1600

I have a ASRock AB350M-HDV Motherboard https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06WWC7BTJ/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Using these Cables 6' HDMI Cable https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NQB2XO6/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 6.5' USB Cable https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NH134L6/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This only seems to work on the motherboard 3.0 ports, I cannot plug in the USB to the front USB 3.0 ports on my Case. Luckily plently of USb 3.0 ports on the motherboard

This setup has been working for 2-3months. I had gone through several sets of cables that did not work. Narrowed down the problem to the USB cable, I had tried 3 different ones all different lenghts. Longest that would work consistantely was this 6.5' amazon basics cable.

Good luck on getting it to work. I know its a pain!
