DIY, cheap, lots of work approach: build your button with a keyboard switch, plastic - be creative, or maybe your school, a friend, or a parent of a friend has a 3D printer, or some public libraries even offer 3D printing services these days - and a raspberry pi (expensive) or micro-board with wifi (cheaper), for example the Arduino MKR WiFi 1010 for wireless connectivity.
