Great price but I'd still say the MP34 is better value pick at 4tb. TLC, DRAM, and higher TBW for only $10 more
No it isn't? For your average user, QLC is perfectly fine.
It's painfully slow once you exhaust the pSLC cache, but most of these modern QLC drives have large dynamic pSLC caches to circumvent this issue. Unless you're hammering the drive with writes, then the performance and longevity will be perfectly fine. If you are, you should be looking at something else.
Not advocating for this specific deal though; the 4TB Team MP34 is $199.99 currently; only $10 more / $2.50 more per TB for a drive that is undeniably better
