I know, it seems perfect, doesn't it? It was so useless I tried returning it, but there must have been a glitch because Amazon sent me the refund saying they had received the item, but the mailman never came to pick it up. So I still have it and am considering modifying it by adding more UV lights inside the box to make it powerful enough to cure my UV resin projects. I find the UV nail-curing lamps limiting and dislike holding a UV torch for 5 minutes to cure my projects, trying to ensure it cures it all evenly. Also, all these seem unsafe. Instead of exposing myself to UV rays, I would much rather pop my projects into a box to cure. Because no matter how many times I tell myself to stop looking into the light it's curing, I am too curious/it's hard to avoid. I have searched for another curing box that DOES cure UV resin but can only seem to find ones that work with resin PRINTED items. I want something enclosed with a large curing space and 360-degree curing capability, whether with a turntable or reflective walls. I have seen people make their own curing boxes, which I may need to do because my online research hours have yet to result in anything that meets these needs and is made specifically for uv resin projects. A DIY curing box would basically work and look like this UV box on Amazon with the reflective aluminum sheets making the enclosure and then attaching UV light strips to the sheets or just placing a UV lamp inside. I am not sure what you are working with right now or what your needs are, but I have been considering buying this lamp because it has more curing space than my current nail lamp, but it still requires you to wear protection. Like so many things resin tool related, we just have to deal with modifying or making our own solutions. As a former product designer and now a professional resin artist, I would love to one day design tools made specifically for us artists. So stay tuned! I may just make this magical curing station a reality for us ;)
