Those cards are great to add onto an existing deck so your son might enjoy it, but if you are just starting out i'd recommend a starter deck such as this http://www.amazon.com/Yu-Gi-Oh-Starter-Kaiba-Reloaded-Sealed/dp/B00GICB2RO I got it when I was getting back into playing the game and it's structured pretty well, there's also the Yugi starter deck that's opposite Kaiba's deck since I think they were made to battle each other. Try a starter deck (Kaiba's deck i think comes with the red eyes black dragon, and either 1-2 blue eyes white dragons) so you can get your bearings and understand the mechanics, then look at your son's deck and see what he likes and which style he plays with so you can figure out which cards he would enjoy to add to his deck. I might be bias because i mainly play with dragons in my deck but if i were him i'd be really happy with those cards haha, I hope I helped! you could also check the sidebar for help on other things like tutoring or even how to start playing.
