u/seanmharcailin Here is the original post about the handlebar addition my husband and I built for the bike. I really liked it but we took it down when I had a professional bike fitting - the fitter recommended I remove it. And it was in my husband's way. (I wasn't super happy about the fitting, he was from a local bike shop and not very knowledgeable about Peloton's riding form/style.) Here's what I now use to help with handlebar reach - unfortunately it's no longer in stock on Amazon but you may be able to find it elsewhere. I really like it - it is quite comfortable, has grooves to help you place your hands properly and I like the part that juts out at the top for holding on to while OOS. Good luck!
My startup developed this ergonomic EVA foam grip that perfectly fits & connects to the Peloton bike handlebar - the "Comfort Grip for Peloton". It helps riders get 1-2" closer to the handlebar and it's thickness let's you rest your hands rather than squeeze tight. I've found it has let me sit up straighter (I have back issues) and generally feel more relaxed riding. It just launched on Amazon:

Some people cut a pool noodle and put that on the handlebars to get an extra inch or two.
They also sell handlebar extenders, but I've mostly seen those for Peletons. I haven't tried them, so I don't know that they wouldn't fit, but it's worth a shot!
