Depends on the model you are looking at, usually it's more expensive. For example, X570 TUF Gaming WIFI is 367$ On PCThemes. Bundle with Ryzen5 3600 is 629$. The mobo itself costs ~300$ on Bhphotovideos.com, 310$ on Amazon and 330 on Newegg. All of these prices are after including GST and shipping costs.

In comparison, it's 299-309$ for Ryzen5 3600 in Sim lim. It costs around the same on Amazon, Bhphotovideo and Newegg. Even cheaper if there's a bundle or deals. But as I mentioned if it's 30-100 more expensive for you but you feel it's worth the convenience of having a local RMA then it's up to you to decide if it's worth it. Mobo and CPU hardly die in my experience.

This below is going to be your best bang for your buck totaling ~$600.

You really can't get any better then the AMD 5800x3d in terms of dollar for gaming performance, especially with their new AM5 CPUs out it's now an even better deal. It'll nearly keep up with some of the top CPUs which cost double the price. The motherboard below will serve you just fine, but if you found another one you liked then go for it. I've always used the Corsair ram and had no issues so I recommend the below, but if you want something else then make sure you get ones that are (2x16GB) 32GB at 3600mhz speed (if I recall correctly this speed maintained the most stability for performance and anything higher wasn't necessary). Remember to turn on the XMP profile in the BIOS when you get the new ram so that it runs at 3600mhz because out of the box it will not.

I just did this setup in my friends computer and it was a day and night difference. ETF is heavily a CPU/RAM based game so I would worry about your GPU next, which buying these particular upgrades already gives you ~$200 to put towards that from your current budget.

That's super helpful. Thanks for all of the advice. My motherboard is this one, so I don't think it supports Aptx since it doesn't seem to mention it anywhere. For PC Scenario 2 that you've mentioned, am I better off buying those two MPow adapters rather than the Avantree kit because they support microphone as well? Having to only have one device attached to my headphones that can receive sound and transmit voice seems ideal, so that I wouldn't need to charge and buy an additional wireless Modmic.

Also, since the one connected to my PC will be connected there pretty much all the time, is there an alternative receiver/transmitter I should buy where I wouldn't need to unplug and charge that I could just leave plugged into a USB slot?
