You could try connecting the turntable to an external Bluetooth transmitter that may have a better connection to the sound bar.

Or instead of listening through the sound bar connect an often better pair of powered speakers starting at $79 to the turntable, scroll down past the turntables.

What is the rest of your setup, which model speakers and amplification?

Manual turntables if you don't need fully automatic:

The Fluance RT82 $299 with auto stop adds an optical sensor speed controlled servo motor for low wow and flutter and speed variation and the speed won't drift since the sensor is monitoring the speed 400 times a second. Pass on the older RT80 and RT81 that lack the new speed sensor. Pass on the RT83 since the cartridge is not any better. Connect the RT82 to a Bozak or iFi Zen Air phono preamp and a Bluetooth Transmitter.

If you want lower cost around the cost of the AT-LP60X then the manual Insignia Turntable $129 also adds an optical speed sensor controlled motor. It has a built in phono preamp and a built in Bluetooth transmitter.

Or the better Monoprice Turntable $199 also has a built in phono preamp and a built in Bluetooth transmitter.

Or the also better AT-LPW30TK $329 $195 has a built in phono preamp then connect it to a Bluetooth Transmitter.

That's a Bluetooth receiver.

Bluetooth transmitters: 1Mii $33 or Avantree $39.

Or instead of a Bluetooth transmitter consider upgrading to a pair of powered speakers with Bluetooth starting at $79 that have an RCA audio cable input for the turntable:

5.25" mid bass driver powered speakers for a small to medium size room:

  • Neumi BSP5 $139 with remote and digital optical input.

4" mid bass driver powered speakers for a small room or desktop setup:

Thank you very much, minimal :)

I just looked on Amazon quickly and found what seems to be what you are suggesting, more or less: (?)

BT Receiver to hook up to my A/V receiver AUX input:

And

Transmitter to hook up to my mixer's main outputs:

~$80 or so for both together sounds about right?

Turntable > $40 Bluetooth Transmitter > $180 Sonos Roam > Sonos ARC and ONES would cost less than a $550 Sonos 5 or $450 Sonos Connect.

I also have been looking for an inexpensive tv streamer. The $375 my audiologist wants for the Phonak TV streamer is really hard to swallow. That's not a hit of the device it's great has no latency so I can balance the streaming volume and the environmental volume so my wife's happy with what she hears and we can still have a conversation.

I picked up one of these that another person on this reddit recomended.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0838YPSZT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This transmitter has latency so if I turn the streaming down so I can talk to my wife I can also hear the TV speakers and it results in an echo like sound that's not very pleasant.

So I guess what I'm asking is there any latency with the device your using. Notice I'd never get my wife to use headphones so she'll need to use the TV speakers and I'd be streaming with a volume low enough for us to have a conversation.

Appreciate your help.
