Just because you take a multivitamin doesn't mean you aren't deficient. Unless you're horking down 6+ of them a day, they almost certainly don't give you enough magnesium, a mineral in which the majority of people in westernized countries are deficient. Your multi probably doesn't give you 5,000 IU / day of Vitamin D, the other nutrient in which most people are deficient.
Take 2x of these Vit D3 + K2 per day, in the morning, for 2 weeks, then reduce to 1x / day. Also take 2x of these magnesium glycinate every day at night, plus another 1x anytime you have an extra strong urge to take a daytime nap. Also check that your multivitamin is a good source of iron. If not, and if you also don't eat much red meat, throw in 1x iron bisglycinate per day in the morning.
dr.s best https://www.amazon.com/Doctors-Best-Absorption-Magnesium-Glycinate/dp/B000BD0RT0/ 2/200mg twice a day, thou i only take 2 once a day now since i don't get constant PVCs
While not toys, I'd encourage you to consider the supplements: R-ALA, Magnesium, Vitamin C, and Grape Seed Extract. Plus, anything else from this fantastic post on supplementation
Protect yourself from the downsides of the things you chose to do.
So far, what's been working very well is taking 0.25mg of clonazepam at night before bed if I get a hotspot, and it eliminates it after a day or two. Then every day I take 200mg of magnesium in the morning and before bed, melatonin before bed, and that keeps things at bay. I've tried half a dozen different brands of mag and this one seeeems to actually work, surprisingly: https://www.amazon.com/Doctors-Best-Absorption-Magnesium-Glycinate/dp/B000BD0RT0
I take magnesium glycinate because that is what my Neuro uses when they give me IV magnesium for migraines. At home I take 200mg in the morning with a Calcium supplement and Vit. D.
Often I take a second dose before bed. My neuro said I can't OD on it so keep taking it. It's helped a lot.
This has one of the best bioavailability, I take 2 daily: https://www.amazon.com/Doctors-Best-Absorption-Magnesium-Supplement/dp/B000BD0RT0
Amazon has Magnesium Glycinate for verrrry cheap
If you have any motility issues, Nature's Calm. Take care with dosing because it can clean you out!
Otherwise, I recommend Magnesium Glycinate Lysinate:
This is really long but I have saved it from giving it to so many. I swear by the following info:
(I hope it helps. For me my number one is desert harvest, 2 is cysto renew, and 3 is marshmallow root powder)
But there's so much more to it. šš
https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBLLccBznfljBqCxkvtve814f0AToMcLq A lot of people myself included had bad pelvic floor reactions as well so definitely don't hesitate trying to stretch that area. My favorite person is femfushion on YouTube.
ALKALINE DIET and ALKALINE water!!!, NO (b6 or citric acid, vitamin C, sometimes even potassium, NO CAFFEINE, NO MSG, OR PRESERVATIVES) avoid dairy as it causes inflammation and gluten.
*** I take:
- 3 desert harvest aloe 2x a day,
-2 cystorenew 2x a day,
-a special marshmallow root powder that's all organic and non gmo (add at least a 1/4 of a tsp into extra hot tea and cover let steep for at least 20 minutes (longer is better) I do this during a flare with a whole teaspoon (sometimes a tablespoon) 2x a day during flares, but the other amount on a daily basis usually in the morning.
-Chamomile tea that's all organic is what I throw in there with it and it also really helps!
-1000mg tumeric
-magnesium (chelated and sourced from glycinate)
-omega 3
-slippery elm bark powder works really well to repair the lining (add a tablespoon to boiling water and stir in a mug until completely dissolved I add stevia and honey or it's pretty gross š¤·š¼āāļøš„“š.
-Probiotics
-when all else fails a muscle relaxer and valium! My muscle relaxer choice is Flexeril but I recommend trying the suppository option it works so well!
*A good heating pad!! * Ice packs *Icy hot and bengay! These combined work wonders, only the advanced strength icy hot in silver tube and bengay ultra strength I use an old makeup brush to apply them (; pro Tip lmao š.
***Baking soda water first thing in morning and before bed, - try hydroxyzine or other mast cell blocking antihistamines, -valium anal suppositories and vaginal suppositories (also do this with muscle relaxers because then I don't get nearly as many side effects, like that hungover feeling),
***bentyl also helps it's an antispasmodic for your intestines but recently I came across info that it could also help my bladder spasms and it definitely does! It's rx only but super cheap and easy to get.
***CBD and Medical marijuana are my best friends. Pelvic floor pillows and pelvic floor stretches! Ice packs! There so many things I could recommend. I'll link what I can for you below, sorry if this is choppy. After doing all of these things consistently for a long time I was really able to get myself out of a flare and have cheat days, even drink alcohol on occasion and not flare if I followed it with marshmallow root.
All products above linked below, good luck! š
