I had a similar problem and people gave me advice. http://www.reddit.com/r/Skullgirls/comments/1l0qa6/keyboard_ghosts_need_help_deciding_which_input/

If you use the numpad and wasd you can sometimes get around ghosting problems.

I went with a cherry brown gaming keyboard (cmstorm quickfire) and it works pretty well, although I have trouble with 360s. I use the computer a lot so I could rationalize getting a nice keyboard, but I couldn't rationalize getting a nice fight stick.

Brown switches have a "bump" when they pressed deep enough to activate, while the red ones go down smooth the entire way. The bump makes touch typing easier. Red is better for gaming, while brown is better for typing.

The other common switch colors are black and blue. Blue are designed for typing, they have a sharp click when they are activated, similar to the brown, but more extreme. Black are completely smooth press, but have higher resistance than red. Black are ideal for games where you need to double tap. Black is bad for typing because it requires more effort, which leads to increased fatigue.

Brown is basically a hybrid of red and blue.
