Well it does have a 5 year warranty on it. So I just bought it. I only vacuum on average once a month. Sometimes I go more than two months, I have a bagless Hoover from 2014 that is still working just fine but I think it's cause I don't vacuum too often at all. So my question is say you were vacuuming once a week, how long do $150 vacuums last? 10 years? I mean I understand you will have to take it apart and clean it and eventually replace the belt, but how long can it last before the motor quits?

When I was in Target back in 2014 and I was looking for a vacuum they didn't even carry a bagged vacuum which gave me the impression that they'd phased em' out of existence. I can tell you I hate dumping out the dust cup, I hate it, the dreaded dust plume for which I must wear a dust mask! Then I started researching vacuums on the internet and realized that bagged vacuums still exist it's just piece of shit Target decided not to carry any. And I've learned about a sealed system, something my Hoover obviously doesn't have as it gets dusty all over the vacuum itself, shit I could tell from the beginning that dust was escaping from the dust bowl, I'd just assumed this was normal for vacuums, but that is not normal, which I've learned from researching vacuums.

My Hoover had a reusable filter which you would take out and run under the water, so what's the scoop on that? From what I understand the Kenmore doesn't have reusable filters why not?
