I picked up this one and it's lasted me 4 years now. Really long power cable, a tool to tuck and hid the cable.

I bought this one a few months ago and it works great. I bought the extra wiring harness for the parking monitor but it works fine on its own.

Be wary of mirror cams. Anything that tries to be both a mirror and a screen isn't going to be very good at either. Plus, the added weight on the mirror can cause it to shift around more. I use this one in my car. It's about the same price, and it's been very reliable for me. They also have versions of it with a rear facing camera.
I have this camera. I just suction it on the windshield below the review mirror. It plugs into the cigarette lighter or whatever those are called now.

The G1WC is the best bang for your buck. The picture isn't amazing (hard to see license plates unless right up close), but it does the job. Be careful with cold weather, though. I left mine out in my Outback last week when it got down to -20 F, and I'm pretty sure it stopped working.
I have the Rexing V1 in my 370Z. The picture is slightly better than the G1WC, but not by much.
I think this is common with most dash cams, but both of these ones will automatically delete the oldest video once the memory card gets full, so you don't have to worry about deleting them yourself.
I have this one. I just placed mine behind the rearview mirror. Pretty low profile.
