There are watch resizing kits on Amazon that are around $8 that I would recommend over trying to use a sewing needle. It's kind of silly to spent $300-$400 on a watch then go cheap when it comes to sizing.

Also, jewlers charge about $10 to size a band like this, which is what I would recommend to begin with if you arent familiar with sizing bands.
