I had a bigger scratch on my rxt 260. It was a breeze to fix and I don’t think i spent more than $50. I got all the advice from reddit.

I used this kit for the repair fiberglass from amazon

Then i used this paint. paint

You can def fix it on your own in an hour or so. I was a bit apprehensive but it was easy.

I think it is fine to go back in the water as is, but I wouldn’t run it in salt water for too long without fixing it. Salt water is insidious. Good luck.
