Is this the one? https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-67-Inch-Video-Camera-Tripod/dp/B00CEH7VG

It seems they haven't had it in stock for quite a while, it may even be discontinued, though a number of reviewers say it was always a rebrand of the Ravelli AVT 67".

Indeed; the larger ones really do require a tripod - and not just any tripod either. People think, "Oh, heavy duty video tripod! That will work!" except that term on Amazon or other online retail places usually means that tripod will hold 2 or 3 pounds, which is inadequate for large binoculars.

There is a tripod on Amazon that's not half-bad for my Orion 20x80s (and would work for 15x70's too), but it's also $75 - $90.

Just be aware you're very likely pushing the weight capacity of that tripod. It only weighs 4 lbs, and the binoculars themselves are over 3 lbs. Add that flimsy adapter that comes with the binoculars, and you almost might as well be hand-holding them.

At minimum, you want something like this adapter. And ideally, a tripod like this. But at least get a better adapter - that little plastic one is next to useless, even on a heavy-duty tripod (ask me how I know!).
